Wedding Album Wins Accolade of Excellence (with no photoshop)

As we all do when award time comes around we usually scramble to get things done in a hurry. My wife Sharifa was designing an Album for a client and flippantly suggested I enter the Album she was designing, un worked for WPPI and see what happens. Thought it was a great idea and the only photoshop that was used in the album was to create the layout and reduce the opacity on a couple of images for effect. ALL the images were straight out of camera ( not even colour corrections or levels ) NOTHING!!!!! The design was done through TDA software and the idea behind this was to showcase quality photography without the use of photoshop to wow your clients.

Module 1 – Posing and Lighting
The pose should not only complement the subject, but should also suit the type of image and its intended mood. Learning how to direct your subject effectively, plays a big part in conveying the photographer’s message. Learn how to create beautifull images with little or no additional lighting.Rocco and Nick will share the way they see and use light to create visually powerful images. Welcome to our first post on our NEW blog. A BIG thank you to all who attended the AIPP Vic Shootout. I had a blast and loved photographing the beautiful Kashifa. Please enjoy just some of the images that were taken on the day. All of the images have been processed straight out of Lightroom using the new X presets which will be released soon.
